Ivory wax candle sleeve gives it a realistic candle look and feel, and the vanilla scent adds a light and pleasant fragrance. Built-in timer setting, just switch it on at the time you need, and it will stay lit for 5 hours, then switch itself off for 19, relighting at the time you set it. Ice and Snow Damage to Evergreens
Snow on evergreens gives them a storybook look.
But in this case, those looks could kill—or at least damage.
A light dusting of snow isn't harmful, but when snow gets too excessive, evergreen branches can easily bend and break. You can help prevent this by removing snow soon after it falls.
It's important, however, that you do this properly, so that you don't do more harm than good. The University of Illinois Extension offers some helpful tips. For example, beating and shaking works but lightly brushing branches is a better way to go. If ice buildup is the problem, follow their advice for a better way to remove it.
For severe ice buildup where it looks as though branches may break, try doing some gentle tapping with a broom handle or rake. In most cases, removing enough ice to relieve stress on the branches will do the trick. But be careful to stay out of the path of falling ice!
