National Honeybee Awareness Day
National Honey Bee Day is an awareness day for the bees. The event was started in 2009 by beekeepers of the United States to promote and educate public about the bee industry.
This event is annually observed on the third Saturday in August. A small group of beekeepers petitioned a formal proclamation of National Honey Bee day by the USDA in 2009.
