Plant Update
There is a shortage of Asparagus
Sprengeri seed for the spring 2020 growing season. Asparagus
Sprengeri has been a staple accent plant in the industry for many
years. The seed shortage has created a void in many accent programs.
Many growers are substituting Asparagus Ming fern in place of the
Sprengeri. This variety being more upright will most likely not make
great hanging baskets but should fit well in combination planters.
